‘Middle-aged Australians are the most likely to drink to excess, while young people are more prone to binge drinking.  The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare’s (AIHW) latest report released this week, also found that the majority of Australians aged 14 years and over consume alcohol. However, the proportion of people drinking in excess of lifetime and single occasion risk guidelines, falling since 2010, continues to decline.’ Drink Tank, FARE
