Which flags under-funding of parents trying to maximize kids’ potential – and minimize future community burdens; most having adopted with no inkling FASD would upend their lives (and many adopt several children). As one parent remarked; “our kids have the highest prevalence among disabilities and deserve quality of life… there’s not one kid that’s unreachable.” The Intelligencer.
